The Tree Listening Installation by Alex Metcalf, links a specifically designed sensor placed on a tree, to between 5 and 10 headphones, which hang from the canopy, allowing the public to listen live to water travelling within the tree through the xylem tube. The device iteslf also does not involve any invasive damage to the tree.
